![]() I'm excited about this just published article "Mary Wollstonecraft, 'Ithuriel,' and the Rise of the Feminist Author-Ghost" (behind paywall) from Tulsa Studies in Women's Literature. It features a previously unpublished manuscript as its appendix. The 1798 story, "Ithuriel," deserves a lot more attention from readers and scholars, as it imagines a conversation among dead feminists Mary Wollstonecraft, Lady Jane Grey, Aspasia, Boadicea, and Sappho.
